Alpaca open day planned

AUGUST 5, 2010: An open day is to be held at a major UK alpaca farm in September.
Morden Hall has a 100 strong herd and has been farming alpacas since 1997.
The open day is the eighth consecutive one, and some 300 visitors come through the gates in the past.
A spokeswoman said: "Not only will we have our herd of alpacas on display, all individually named, but this year there will be a range of alpaca knitwear for sale, spinners and felters, alpaca feed suppliers, alpaca gifts, alpaca pillows, a presentation on ‘Why Alpaca’ and even alpaca poo… "
