MAY 1, 2009: A television production company is looking for new smallholders to take part in a new prime-time Channel 4 series called My Dream Farm.

The programme will follow six people as they start a new smallholding venture, and they will be introduced to a mentor who will give them advice.

Those featured could be families, individuals or couples who are giving up the 9-5 routine and have just started setting up their smallholding, or they could be six to 18 months down the line.
