AUGUST 21, 2009: A university in Scotland is to launch a Centre for Understanding Sustainable Practice with an event on Monday, September 14.

Members of the public are invited to attend the launch of the new Centre, at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. It aims to educate and inspire people to embrace environmental sustainable practice in their daily lives.

The university says the centre will contribute to its ambition to develop its potential to be amongst the 'greenest' universities in the UK, particularly through the development of its Garthdee campus which will see £140 million invested over the next decade.
